Welcome to EZZY, a technology marketplace powered by ezzy.ph and owned and operated by EZZYTech IT Solutions.
This Payments Policy explains how payments, payment processing, transaction confirmations, payment-related issues, refunds, and vendor payouts may be handled when using EZZY and its services.
The EZZY ecosystem includes specialized platforms and services such as EZZYSTAY, EZZYDRIVE, EZZYCARE, EZZYWELL, EZZYCOURT, EZZYWORK, EZZYLEARN, EZZYFOOD, EZZYPARK, EZZYHOME, EZZYPETS, EZZYLAW, EZZYRIDE, and EZZYSHOTS, as well as other services that may be introduced in the future.
Because EZZY connects customers with independent vendors, Partners, businesses, professionals, and service providers, payment methods, processing times, fees, refunds, and payout arrangements may vary depending on the service and transaction.
By using EZZY or completing a transaction through the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Payments Policy, the Terms of Use, the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any other applicable EZZY policies.
1. EZZY’s Role in Payments
Technology Marketplace
EZZY provides technology that may facilitate payments between customers and independent vendors, Partners, businesses, professionals, and service providers.
Depending on the applicable EZZY service, EZZY may facilitate:
- Payment initiation
- Payment confirmation
- Transaction records
- Refund processing
- Cancellation-related payment adjustments
- Vendor and Partner payouts
- Payment-related communications
- Other transaction-related functions
EZZY may use authorized third-party payment providers to process payments.
EZZY does not necessarily directly process, hold, or store payment funds or payment credentials for every transaction.
The actual payment processing arrangements may depend on the payment provider used for the transaction.
Independent Providers
Vendors and Partners remain responsible for the products or services they provide to customers.
Payment through EZZY does not change the independent business relationship between the customer and the provider.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Available Payment Methods
Depending on the EZZY service, location, transaction, and available payment provider, customers may be able to pay using methods such as:
- Credit or debit cards
- GCash
- Maya
- Bank or online banking payment methods
- Other digital payment methods
- Other payment methods made available through EZZY
The payment methods available to a customer may vary depending on the service, transaction, payment provider, location, and other applicable conditions.
EZZY may add, remove, suspend, or modify available payment methods from time to time.
3. Payment Processing
Third-Party Payment Providers
Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways, payment service providers, banks, financial institutions, or other payment providers.
These providers may have their own:
- Terms and conditions
- Privacy policies
- Security requirements
- Transaction limits
- Processing times
- Verification procedures
- Fees and charges
Customers may be required to agree to the applicable terms of the payment provider when completing a transaction.
Payment Authorization
A payment may require authorization, verification, authentication, or other security procedures before it can be completed.
A transaction is not considered successfully paid until the applicable payment provider confirms the payment or EZZY receives appropriate confirmation.
4. Payment Confirmation
Successful Payments
After a successful payment, EZZY may provide a payment confirmation, booking confirmation, order confirmation, receipt, or other transaction information.
Customers should retain their transaction reference or confirmation for future inquiries.
A payment confirmation does not necessarily guarantee that the underlying product or service will be provided if the provider later cancels or is unable to fulfill the transaction.
Applicable cancellation and refund rights are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable provider terms.
Pending Payments
A payment may remain pending while the payment provider completes processing, verification, or authorization.
Customers should avoid submitting multiple payments for the same transaction while a payment remains pending unless instructed to do so.
5. Failed or Declined Payments
Payment Failure
A payment may fail, be declined, or remain incomplete for reasons including:
- Insufficient funds
- Incorrect payment information
- Expired payment credentials
- Bank restrictions
- Payment provider restrictions
- Security or fraud checks
- Technical issues
- Transaction limits
- Network or connectivity problems
- Other reasons determined by the payment provider
If a payment fails, the customer may be required to use another available payment method.
EZZY is not responsible for payment failures caused by a customer’s bank, financial institution, payment provider, or other third party.
6. Duplicate Payments
Duplicate Transactions
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same transaction, please contact EZZY as soon as reasonably possible.
EZZY may review the transaction records and, where appropriate, coordinate with the applicable payment provider or vendor.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- Transaction reference
- Payment confirmation
- Date and time of payment
- Amount charged
- Payment method
- Other relevant information
Where a duplicate charge is confirmed and a refund is applicable, the refund will be processed in accordance with the applicable payment provider and refund procedures.
7. Payment Fees and Charges
Platform Service Fee
EZZY currently charges an 11% Platform Service Fee on applicable completed transactions processed through the Platform.
The Platform Service Fee is governed by the Terms of Use and may be subject to change.
Where applicable, the Platform Service Fee may be deducted from the transaction before the remaining amount is released to the vendor or Partner.
Payment Processing Fees
Additional payment processing fees may apply depending on the payment method or third-party payment provider.
Where applicable, customers or vendors will be informed of applicable charges before or during the relevant transaction.
EZZY does not control fees independently imposed by banks, financial institutions, card issuers, or third-party payment providers.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Applicable Refund Policy
Refunds and cancellations are governed primarily by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable provider-specific cancellation terms.
Depending on the transaction, a customer may be eligible for:
- Full refund
- Partial refund
- Credit
- Rescheduling
- Other applicable resolution
- No refund
Customers should review the applicable cancellation and refund terms before completing a transaction.
Refund Processing
Once an approved refund is initiated, the time required for the refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment method, payment provider, bank, or financial institution.
EZZY cannot guarantee the exact time required for a third-party financial institution to complete a refund.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customer Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact EZZY regarding payment issues before initiating a chargeback where the issue can reasonably be resolved through the Platform.
EZZY may review transaction information and communicate with the applicable vendor or payment provider when investigating a payment dispute.
Chargebacks
Customers who initiate a chargeback may be subject to applicable payment provider procedures.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions, suspension, or other appropriate action.
EZZY may provide relevant transaction information to authorized payment providers, banks, or financial institutions when responding to legitimate chargeback claims.
11. Unauthorized Transactions
Payment Security
If you believe a payment or transaction was made without your authorization, you should contact EZZY as soon as reasonably possible.
You should also contact your bank, card issuer, or applicable payment provider where appropriate.

12. Payment Security
Protecting Payment Information
EZZY takes reasonable measures to support the security of transactions and payment-related information.
Where third-party payment providers are used, payment information may be processed directly by those providers according to their security practices and policies.
Customers should never provide passwords, authentication codes, PINs, or other sensitive security credentials to another user, vendor, Partner, or person claiming to represent EZZY unless the information is specifically required through an authorized payment or verification process.
EZZY will not knowingly request sensitive authentication information through unofficial communication channels.

These third parties may independently process payment information and may have their own policies, terms, security procedures, and legal obligations.
EZZY is not responsible for independent services controlled by third-party payment providers.
Where appropriate, customers and vendors may need to contact the applicable payment provider directly regarding payment matters that are controlled by that provider.
